The benefits that COMPA contract labor employees at Los Alamos National Laboratory will receive were selected to maximize the best value allowable on the contract.  In many cases, COMPA sought to match or improve existing benefits to facilitate a more seamless transition.  For example,  all employees are automatically signed up for a $50,000.00 Basic Life Insurance policy and a $50,000.00 Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit at no cost to the employee.

COMPA welcomes benefits feedback from all employees to better understand their needs for potential re-direction of COMPA’s benefits structure. It is our commitment to offer the best benefits allowable to our employees that will promote COMPA’s goal as an “Employer of Choice.”

COMPA has long-standing relationships with multiple benefit providers to ensure that only the best value benefits are being offered to our employees.  COMPA also hosts an annual benefits orientation where employees have an opportunity to ask benefits providers’ representatives questions regarding employee benefits. The list below contains a general summary of benefits available to eligible employees. COMPA will provide more detailed information as the transition progresses.
